What is a Concrete Daisy?
People ask us frequently how we got the name Concrete Daisy Web Design. Well, it all started one brisk Minnesota spring morning. After a long hard winter, one tends to savour every blessed sign that warmer weather is coming. While walking to work one day (uphill both ways in the blizzards and ice), I saw a flower growing out of the sidewalk. It was a beautiful white flower with a yellow middle. It was a...(timpani roll) daisy. Daisies are tough little flowers. They tend to grow in unexpected places. After a little bit of free association, Concrete Daisy was born.
(Reality Check: it was July and it was quite warm, but it makes a better story when someone is on the verge of going mad and finds something to bring him back from the precipice of insanity. Oh, and also it was a dandelion which is in the same family of flowers as daisies. We really worked the free association thing here.)
